Emiko – gorgeous Kimono jacket in wine red
Another beautiful autumn color, this fashion season wine red is a trend color! Looks great if you combine it with a bright pink blouse or this bright red/pink vintage silk cord (available in my shop). A gorgeous fashionable vintage find. This Kimono jacket (Haori) is handmade of a natural fabric, most likely a mix of cotton and silk. The fabric has a beautiful woven structure of lines in glossy and matte. The line drawings are applied by hand using a Japanese stencil-dye technique (Katazome). The lining has a beautiful pattern and is made of silk in beige color. This Haori appears unworn and is in perfect condition, no flaws. Dates from the 80s. Emiko is a Japanese girl’s name meaning ‘smiling child’. I guess this gem makes you smile too.
