Hikaru – silk Kimono jacket with shimmering details

This vintage Kimono jacket (Haori) is hand-sewn in Japan from a nude skin-colored shiny silk. It has a truly beautiful woven floral design in various metallic colors. This Haori has slightly more shoulder width, longer sleeves and a stunning silk lining with a pattern of chrysanthemums, the emblem of the Japanese Imperial Family. There is a printed family crest on the back. It is vintage and in good condition. There are three small spots on the back of one sleeve. Hikaru is a Japanese girls (and boys) name meaning ‘shimmer’.
