SOLD ~ Natsu – Vintage silk Haori Kimono jacket in burnt orange
This Haori (Kimono jacket) from around the 1930s is made of soft, slightly shiny silk in warm burnt orange with a red undertone. The silk fabric is smooth and fluid, and features subtle metallic motifs. It is fully hand-sewn, including a distinctive hand-stitched zig-zag detail at the neck. The lining combines two different patterned fabrics for a unique touch. The longer length and sleeves make it easy to wear as a semi-open summer dress or as an elegant longer Kimono jacket. It is in good vintage condition, with only one small hole below the neckline. “Natsu” means summer in Japanese, reflecting its light, versatile style.
