Vintage silk iromuji Kimono in traditional royal blue

This is far from an average Iromuji (solid-colored) Kimono. It is entirely hand-sewn from soft, fluid crepe silk of exceptional quality. The color is an intense, traditional royal blue that reminds me of Yves Klein Blue.

Chic, bold and surprisingly easy to style. Wear it casually with your favorite jeans and a white tee, or drape it over a black mini dress for a chic evening outfit. Style it your way!
To create a subtle silhouette I paired it with a vintage silk cummerbund I found in a thrift shop. (not included)

This vintage Kimono is unworn, it still retained the original tailor’s basting stitches, therefore remains in perfect condition.

The inside is fully lined with white silk and on the bottom part the same blue silk, so it can easily be shortened if desired. And it features a Kamon (family crest) printed on the back in matching light blue tone.
