Chirimen silk is a traditional Japanese silk fabric characterized by its distinctive bumpy, crimped surface texture known as Shibo. Supple yet durable, Chirimen drapes beautifully while retaining its strength, making it ideal for both practical and decorative use. It comes in its original Paulownia wooden box and remains in perfect vintage condition.
Can be used for gift wrapping, worn as a scarf or simply as a collectors piece of Japanese textile art.
