Vintage Dochugi Haori jacket – Pride edition
A unique vintage Dochugi Haori in vibrant rainbow-inspired colors on a deep navy blue background with flowing shades of red, orange, yellow, green, and blue.
Traditionally worn over a kimono, the Dochugi is known for its comfortable, easy-to-wear fit. This piece features traditional purple front cords, inner ties for a secure closure and snap fasteners at the neckline that allow the collar to be easily folded over for a half-width look.
Dating from around the 1980s, it remains in very good vintage condition with no imperfections, seems unworn.
The silk-blend fabric features a slightly textured weave, making it durable and lightweight. It sure is a joyful statement piece that combines Japanese style with vivid colors. Happy Pride! 🌈
