This rare set of three vintage hanging scrolls shows a visual guide to Lay Buddhism, to practice at home. The diagrams are a mix of Buddhist teachings, Shinto beliefs and ancestor worship.
One scroll The path of ancestral worship shows a diagram on how a person can grow past everyday worries and reach true spiritual success.
The other two scrolls The path to the divine and 5 Years chanting method: show how humans connect to the gods honoring your parents and ancestors. It explains that being kind to your family breaks bad luck and brings good blessings.

Good vintage condition with some fading of the ink in a few places, adding to its authentic character.
