Antique red Urushi lacquerware bowls with gold hand-painted design

These 8 antique Urushi lacquerware bowls beautifully showcase traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Each bowl is handcrafted from lightweight wood and finished with multiple layers of natural Urushi lacquer, resulting in a vibrant red exterior and a contrasting dark brown interior.
The lids are elegantly decorated with hand-painted flying cranes and pine trees in gold on the outside, with subtle branch details on the inside of the lids. In Japanese culture, cranes symbolize longevity and good fortune.

These bowls are antique and show minor signs of age and use. Most pieces have small nicks along the edges of the bowls or lids, consistent with their history.
