Kagayaku – chique black Kimono jacket with a sparkle
This black Kimono jacket is handmade from a beautiful matte shiny silk quality. The different sparkly details are woven with metallic threads in colors such as aqua, soft red, silver, light blue, light green and even black. It has a traditional Japanese family crest printed on the back. This vintage find is slightly longer than the average Haori length, which makes it look even more chic. The lining is made of silk in a beige color, the lining shows some tiny stains due to long term storage, although hardly visible. This Kimono jacket is in very good vintage condition, no flaws. The silk cord is not included (soon available in my shop). Kagayaku is Japanese for ‘sparkle’ or ‘shimmer’.
