Mamiko – wool Ikat woven long Kimono

Vintage Kimono handmade of a refined Ikat (Tsumugi) woven wool, in a gorgeous salmon-pink color, with a refined woven pattern of white and yellow threads. Look at that last pictures for details! This pattern makes me think of Sashiko stitching. This wool Kimono is in perfect condition, since it only has a cotton lining on the upper part of the body it can easily be made shorter according to your own wishes. I can provide this service for you. It is unworn and in perfect condition.

Long Kimono have a larger bust size, due to extra frontpanels. Therefore it is also suitable for women wearing size L to XXL (40-44 EU size). If you are a S or M fit, you can wear it fashionably oversized loose or wrap it with an Obijime cord. Beautiful to wear this thin wool Kimono as a knee-length coat or as a short Kimono jacket! For any size and any length.
