Another stunning Haori (kimono jacket), hand-stitched from a flowy coral pink silk. The silk fabric has beautiful woven details in coral pink and various refined designs in white. The silk lining hfeatures a light pink design in a watercolor effect. The tailor’s original basting threads (see last image) are still present and can be easily removed. I usually take them out, but left them in this one to prove the status. These basting threads indicates that it is unworn and therefore in perfect condition. A few very light spots are slightly visible in the lining, due to long-term storage. Sango is Japanese for ‘coral pink’.
