Shizu – patterned silk Kimono jacket (Haori) in plum color
This silk Haori (Kimono jacket) is hand-sewn, the fabric has a beautiful woven pattern combined with small Shibori details. Shibori is a Japanese manual tie-dye technique. The lining is made of creme colored silk. The hand-woven silk cords are included. This Kimono jacket is in perfect condition, it seems unworn and dates from the 1970s. Shizu is a Japanese girl’s name and means ‘calmness’.
