Silk Furoshiki with print of famous painter Matsubayashi Keigetsu
The print on this gorgeous silk Furoshiki (wrapping cloth) is based on one of the paintings of the famous Japanese painter Matsubayashi Keigetsu (1876 – 1963). He was actively engaged in Japanese painting, especially in the field of the southern school of Chinese painting. Moreover, he became a court artist in 1944 and gained an indisputable position in the Japanese painting world. This Furoshiki is made of a silk fabric in a light brown color with gradient effect. The wonderful print is in black and greenish colors, with some golden details. This Furoshiki is a real piece of art, beautiful for wrapping a gift, to wear as scarf or even to hang on your wall. It is in perfect vintage condition.
