Silk Furoshiki with flowerdesign

Vintage Furoshiki (wrapping cloth) made of 100% chirimen silk. Chirimen silk is a soft textured fabric made by twisting the threads as they are woven, giving it that special crepe texture. Chirimen silk drapes beautifully and it is difficult to crease. This Furoshiki features a beautiful Japanese floral print on a gray-blue and light yellow background. The purple flowers have some gold splashes. Lovely for wrapping a gift or wear as a scarf. It is in good vintage condition.
