Tsuru – silk handpainted children’s Kimono
This vintage silk children’s Kimono is truly a work of art. It is hand-stitched from a supple woven silk in a light vanilla yellow color. Beautifully decorated with hand-painted cranes and green branches with gold-colored details. In Japan, these red-crowned cranes symbolize longevity and good luck. Also note the details such as the red stitching on the front and the Kamon (family crest). The size is suitable for a child from 5 to about 10 years old, depending on the size of your child. The length of the mannequin is 112 cm, length of the girl is 141 cm. If in doubt, feel free to contact me. The long straps can be tied both on the outside and on the inside through the open sleeves. This Kimono is fully lined and is in perfect condition, it seems hardly worn or not at all. Also very pretty to hang on your wall as a colorful gem from Japan.
