SEIJI – vintage men’s Haori from indigo Oshima silk
Vintage men’s Haori (Kimono jacket) hand-sewn from indigo dyed Oshima Tsumugi silk, with a subtle sheen and woven in Saigo pattern. Oshima silk is meticulously woven by hand in a process that takes over thirty steps, is lightweight and wrinkle-resistant. Produced at the Amami Islands in the southern prefecture of Kagoshima, Japan. The silk lining features beautiful calligraphy with subtle gold accents, makes this Haori also stunning to wear inside out AND it’s suitable for women too! It is in perfect vintage condition, no imperfections! Seiji is a Japanese male name, which means ‘pure, truthful’.
