YUKO – Vintage silk Haori Kimono jacket with floral design
One-of-a-kind vintage Haori from around the 1960s, handsewn from slightly lustrous silk in a warm cream tone. The silk fabric features a subtle woven floral pattern and a truly eye-catching Ume flower (plum blossom) print on the back and both sleeves, partially handpainted. The lining is made of shiny silk in warm beige with a traditional Japanese woven design.
This stunning Haori can be worn as a short summer dress or as an elegant Kimono jacket. In good vintage condition. The Haori shows some light stains due to age and long storage, visible in the lining and back, a natural characteristic of genuine vintage garments. The silk Obijime cord is included for optional styling.
Vintage Haori like in this soft creme teint with minimal imperfections, are increasingly hard to find.
