KUWAZOME – Vintage silk Haori (Kimono jacket) in Mulberry brown
Stylish vintage Haori (Kimono jacket), hand-sewn from a beautiful mulberry brown silk with woven leaf details. Its rich dark reddish-brown (burgundy) hue creates a sophisticated look, it also pairs beautifully with a bold pop of color.
The beige silk lining features a stunning print of traditional Japanese folk art motifs, including scenes from the tea ceremony. I’ll admit, it’s hard not to keep this one for myself. The Haori features a traditional Kamon (family crest) on the back and comes with its original Haori-himo cords to softly fasten the front. The neon pink Obijime cord belt shown in the photos is not included. Similar cords are available in my shop, or feel free to email for request.
It’s in excellent condition with no imperfections, like unworn.

I named this piece Kuwazome, it literally means “mulberry dye”, a traditional Japanese color.
