This vintage men’s Haori (Kimono jacket) is hand-sewn from Oshima Tsumugi silk in a dark blue tone. Oshima Tsumugi is a traditional plain-woven, hand-spun silk known for its refined texture and patterns created with pre-dyed threads, giving the fabric its subtle sheen.
The interior silk lining is a true highlight. It features an illustrated scene of Mount Fuji, alongside fishing imagery with a lobster and a boat. With a lining this striking, the Haori can also be worn inside out for a bold, artistic look.
Suitable for both men and women and works beautifully as a statement layer over modern outfits.
In good vintage condition. There are some light age-related stains on the lining, which add to the authentic vintage character.
