This vintage haori (kimono jacket) is hand-sewn from flowing black silk with a subtle sheen.
The true beauty lies in the embroidery of maple leaves across the back and sleeve, in light blue, grey and white silk threads. The embroidery stands out beautifully against the deep black silk.
A striking detail is the black mesh appliqué backed with pale blue silk, adding a slight depth to the design.
The haori is lined with beige silk and the original silk himo cords are still attached, which can be tied loosely at the front.
In excellent vintage condition with no flaws or imperfections.
