Cute Kokeshi doll with daisies on body by Aoki Ryoka

A cute handmade Kokeshi doll by the multi-award winning master Aoki Ryoka (1931 – ). She started making Kokeshi dolls around 1958. It is named ‘Daisy Princess’ or Hinagiku. The daisies are painted by hand on the body and it has a pink fabric bow on top of the head. This doll dates back from the 1970’s and is in good vintage condition.
