RYUJIN – Vintage men’s silk Haori with Dragon lining
This vintage men’s Haori (Kimono jacket) is hand-sewn from flowing black silk with a subtle sheen. It features traditional family crests (Kamon) on the chest, sleeves, and back. A classic detail of men’s formal kimono.
But the real surprise is on the inside. The silk lining features a dramatic scene of a Japanese dragon emerging from crashing waves. Dragons are traditional Japanese symbols associated with water, rain and power, making this an especially striking motif for a Haori lining.
The contrast between the classy black exterior and the illustrated interior is wonderful. And with a lining this beautiful, there’s no reason to keep it hidden.
The Haori can be worn inside out for a completely different look.
