SANGO – Unworn silk Haori Kimono in coral
Unworn vintage Japanese Haori (Kimono jacket), hand-sewn from flowing silk in a soft coral shade. It features delicately woven floral accents and floral motifs in white, red and grey, accented with fine detailing.
Lightweight and graceful, it drapes beautifully and can be styled in endless ways. Wear it as a chic jacket over a jeans and a tee, layer it with a dress for an evening out, or enjoy it as refined loungewear piece. The lining is adorned with a traditional Japanese pattern in a light orange shade, adding a hidden detail to this stunning piece.
This Haori still carried the tailor’s original silk basting threads (Shitsuke) when found, used to preserve its shape during storage. Clearly an indication that it has never been worn and in perfect condition. A classic yet modern piece to wear. Sango meaning “coral” in Japanese.
