This beautiful vintage Tsuchiyu kokeshi is a rare find, it features a hand painted Japanese landscape and beautiful calligraphy. The poem on the body comes from a folklore song about Iizaka onsen in Fukushima prefecture. There are some light scratches on the head, a small scratch on the cheek and the red paint is slightly discolored on the top of the body.
