Vintage silk Hina dolls – ministers
Vintage Hina dolls representing two ministers, handmade using the traditional Kimekomi technique. The bodies of the Kimekomi dolls are made of ‘toso’, a sawdust of paulownia wood mixed with wheat starch. The dolls are artfully covered with real silk, decorated with patterns in gold thread. The faces and hands are made of synthetic material. Dating from the 1970s and in good vintage condition. These dolls bring Japanese tradition and culture into your interior all year round.
