SOLD ~ TORI – silk men’s Haori (Kimono jacket) in bright blue
A refined vintage Haori (Kimono jacket) for men, hand-sewn from Oshima Tsumugi silk in a bright blue shade. Oshima silk is a plain woven, handspun silk known for its fine pattern. The result is a subtle sheen and a beautiful texture. The silk lining reveals a nature scene with bamboo branches, a traditional Japanese basket, some rough sea waves and cute birds. Its intricate lining makes this Haori equally stunning when worn inside out, blending tradition with modern flair. A timeless piece, suitable for both men and women. There is a vague stain on the inside, which appears to have been cleaned (see last photo). Furthermore in very good vintage condition.
