KONOTORI – antique silk Haori in dark plum

Antique Haori, hand-sewn from a dark plum silk with a print of flowers and Konotori birds in a deep pink shade. Konotori is the Japanese oriental stork, symbolizing longevity, happiness and prosperity. It is difficult to photograph the actual dark shades of this Haori, in reality the colors are slightly darker. The lining is of Chirimen crepe silk with a print of large flowers, to which some embroidery has been added. The short silk Himo cords are included. This antique Kimono jacket dates from around the 1930s-40s, is in very good condition, just one stain in the lining. Elegant to wear and combine, and above all a unique apparel.
