Naoko – black silk Kimono Jacket with multi-colored woven details
This vintage Kimono jacket is handmade in Japan. The beautiful pattern of flowers and leaves is woven into the silk fabric with multi-colored metallic threads, this technique is called Urushi. Black wavy lines are subtle woven within the black silk and a traditional Japanese family crest is printed on the back. The lining is made of silk in a dark beige color, the lining shows some small stains caused by long storage. This Kimono jacket is otherwise in very good condition. Beautiful to wear for the upcoming holidays. Naoko is a Japanese girl’s name, it means ‘honest child’.
